Lawn Installations: Traditional Seed, Hydroseed, Sod
We offer a variety of lawn installations based on your property, budget and goals in mind. Each has process has its pros and cons, our job is to help you understand and choose what will be best for your property. All lawns installations start with the process of removing the old grass, re-grading, and adding a minimum of 3” of composted loam. The loam is then processed to create a soft, level and smooth seed or sod bed, giving you the best results.
We use a premium sun and shade blended seed that can adapt to your property. The seed is spread on the processed loam, and hand raked into the soil, better soil to seed contact means better results. The process of growing a lawn from traditional seed does take patience, time and effort. The results will be best after one full growing season, traditional seed develops very deep roots, allowing it to sustain itself better through droughts etc.
If planting a relatively large area, hydroseeding can be completed in a very short period of time. It can be very effective for hillsides and sloping lawns to help with erosion control. Hydroseeding will typically cost less than sod installation, but more than traditional seeding. Results are often quicker with high germination rates because of the fiber mulch that is mixed in with the seed, it is sprayed on as a liquid, and helps to maintain moisture around the seeds.
Is the perfect solution for instant “grassification”. We order our sod to be cut fresh the morning of your install and will be delivered directly to your property. We are able to cut around hardscaping and create perfect defined edges to your landscape beds. Sod can be installed in small areas, areas that need repair or large areas. Because sod has shallow roots it is highly recommended to core aerate annually, continuing to develop a healthy and deep root system.
Shrub & Tree Installations

Shrub and Tree install can be done all at once or in steps throughout each season. We can enhance the curb appeal for your home, we can soften the lines of your home, create privacy, create a shady relaxing area etc. We can install a whole new shrub design, replace dead or unsightly shrubs, transplant existing shrubs etc. Our crew is fully trained to install shrubs, our crew takes pride in their work. Shrubs are removed from burlap, metal baskets removed or completely cut apart, root balls are layered to expose the flare of the trunk, and we pick free the compacted soil allowing the roots to develop. We use a composted loam mixture to amend the soil around each new planting, as well as organic shrub fertilizer. All this care and attention is to provide you the best results and help to protect your new investment.
Professionally installed and maintained outdoor lighting systems increase the safety and beauty of your home or business, while also adding resale value.
Here are some of the main reasons for installing an outdoor lighting system:
Lighting can reveal dark areas in your landscape where someone might try to hide.
Outdoor lighting ensures you and your visitors can safely navigate around the property at night. No more stumbling over steps in the dark, low-voltage lighting gives you and your guests the confidence to get around after the suns gone down.
Illuminating private areas of your property allow enjoyment into the evening on your patio, sitting areas, and recreational spaces. You will be able to enjoy your party on into the evening hours! We can also create more privacy by up-lighting outside of these spaces, creating the focus onto your landscape and not beyond into your personal spaces.
Low voltage lighting highlights the architectural elements of your home, and accentuates the features of your landscape. We can design and create dramatic focal points at night; a fountain, the weeping branches of your Japanese Maple tree, the façade of your home etc.
